Scientology Volunteer Ministers Goodwill Tour in Botswana
These Padamatenga children are engrossed in their study technology class.
|
They learn basic study skills, such as how to use a dictionary.
|
With the ability to study comes a pride in oneself. It opens the door to opportunity in life.
|
When the Scientology Volunteer Ministers Goodwill Tour arrives in an area, their first action is to visit with local officials, teachers and community groups to find out from them the major situations in the area and where help is most needed.
From their initial survey they work out a program to provide the community with the tools it needs to make concrete and positive change in the conditions most in need of improvement.
One of the primary ways that they do this is through seminars and classes in the technology developed by Scientology founder, L. Ron Hubbard. These classes are based on the chapters of the Scientology Handbook, and include such vital subjects as the ability to study, improving communication, overcoming drug problems, and raising ethical and moral standards.
In the village of Padamatenga the children were the highest priority so the Volunteer Ministers provided training in study technology, developed by Scientology founder, L. Ron Hubbard, to enable the young people to learn any subject, which opens the door to greater opportunities in life.
