|
The Scientology Volunteer Ministers Goodwill Tour has been working with the
nursing staff at the Fatima Hospital in Lucknow, India at
the request of one of the hospital administrators, training
the nurses on assist technology to help them improve the
quality of care of their patients and communication technology
to enable them to become even more compassionate with their
patients.
Assists
are techniques, developed by Scientology founder, L. Ron
Hubbard, that operate on the principle that one tends to
withdraw mentally or spiritually from an injured area. Only
by restoring communication with this area can one bring
the spiritual element into healing, thereby greatly speeding
the healing process. The nurses who had been cautious when
dealing with tiny babies or seriously ill people before
the training found their skill and ability to help had greatly
increased from what they learned.
