Scientology Volunteer Ministers Help Add Compassion and Understanding to Law and OrderPolice are entrusted by their governments and communities with the task of maintaining order under the most trying circumstances. And they are not always trained to cope with the kinds of problems they encounter.
So, when he learned about the Scientology Volunteer Ministers who were visiting his island as part of the Asian Goodwill Tour, and the training in communication technology that they offer, the Director General of the Kin Men Police Bureau immediately saw how this could help his officers. Here was a tool they could use to better serve the people of the region. He asked the Volunteer Ministers to provide a communication seminar, which they were very happy to do.
The Scientology Handbook contains the following section, showing the importance of communication in resolving any other situation in life: “There are three factors in Scientology which are of the utmost importance in handling life. These three factors answer the questions: How should I talk to people? How can I give new ideas to people? How can I find what people are thinking about? How can I handle my work better? “These three factors in Scientology are called the ARC triangle. The abbreviation ARC (pronounced A-R-C rather than arc) is one of the most useful terms yet devised. The ARC triangle is called a triangle because it has three related points. The first of these points is affinity. The second of these points is reality. The third of these points and the most important is communication.”
